A cover of The Wakes song 'No Human Is Illegal' with a few lyrical changes to make it more reflective of the current situation in Ireland.

In the past few years Ireland has witnessed a massive rise in far-right fueled hatred and racism which has seen asylum seekers targeted on a regular basis by people who are all too quick to forget their own history of seeking refuge down through the years.

They have attacked individuals, family homes and even direct provision centres in their contemptible crusade to keep "Ireland for the Irish".

Thankfully though, the majority of Irish people have seen straight through their thinly veiled prejudice and have stood against and rejected their message at every turn, leaving them with a minimal amount of support thus far.

Of course, all this could still change as we have seen their numbers grow both here in Ireland and across Europe during the Covid19 pandemic.

That's is why now, more than ever, it is vitally important that we oppose the far-right and let them know that their vitriol and hatred is not in our name.

This song is dedicated to the thousands of refugees that are currently being trapped between the Poland and Belarus border under horrendous conditions.
