A song about the rapidly worsening housing and homelessness crisis, both here in Ireland and around the world, that looks at the harsh realities of life on the street.

It is an absolute disgrace that in Ireland alone we currently have hundreds of thousands of homes lying empty as more and more people suffer and die for the want of a roof over their heads.

The government pretend to care, yet they do nothing about these empty properties in order to drive rent and housing prices higher and higher in order to appease their capitalist masters, while also voting consistently against measures such as rent freezes and eviction bans.

Make no mistake, this crisis is a manufactured one and the government want it to continue for as long as possible so as to further line the pockets of their landlord and developer friends. The only way to stop it now is through people power!
